Daily Trick 36. Reject Message
Often, it's really annoying to have stream of continuously coming unwanted messages. By only trashing the message won't discourage the senders in spamming our mail.
There is one way you can use to discourage them: by rejecting the message. Technically, it's called Bounce Back. If you're currently using Mail.app (default mail reader for Mac), you can do the trick.
- Open Mail and highlight the unwanted message
- Go to menubar Message → Bounce or you can always use keystrokes Cmd-Shift-B
- The message will be bounced back to the sender

I've heard that you shouldn't response on Spam-messages because by sending a message to them, they'll know that the e-mail address is active and used. Isn't it better to make a new rule in mail and make sure any message from that address is automatically moved to the trash?

This is VERY bad advice, not because of the reason the first commenter pointed out but because because of the trickle down effect bouncing has. Every host or ISP will ask you not to do this. Bouncing a message will not notify the spammer that the address is active because the offending replyto address likely does not exist or has been deactivated thus created a cascade of bounces back and fourth between your ISP's servers and the offending ones. Bouncing a message back to a spammer creates and endless feedback loop of bounces which consume immeasurable resources in the mail server.

In addition to this, many spammers have a spoof reply address, so some poor unsuspecting person may receive all the bounced emails.

En renvoyant le message (bounce) tu renvoies à une adresse qui n'existe pas. Le mieux est de s'inscrire chez un fournisseur d'adresses qui détecte bien les SPAM genre gmail. et de le laisser faire. Les messageries détectent de mieux en mieux les spam.
