some more FREEWARE application reviewed would not have harmed i guess
Is this just 50 ads for commercial mac software?
@Anon It depends on how you see it.
@Anon Probably not, but you must agree - these are gorgeous looking apps! Most freeware apps don't look that good..
@Anon, @Leon Liber That raises a good follow up question then. What are some freeware apps that do look that good. I could prime the question by throwing out there: VLC Handbrake Quicksilver Pixen
I would also add: Miro (Very pretty) AppCleaner Camino Smultron SimpleTask Scribblet
Forgot to mention one of my absolute favorite looking mac freeware apps: Transmission (web interface is pretty too)
awesome app love........
Great post! keep em coming!
These are some really nice apps and ScreenFlow is really the best of it's kind! I can also add this Free Application: iCompta -> http://bit.ly/4yV2ql A great personal finance app. It does also have an iPhone version.
I m liking your posts a lot . Keep Going !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey, not sure if this is the right place to post this but tobad :P I really like this site, I have a few custome mac sites and what they ALL need is more things about customizing them with weird features, like the glow in expose was PERFECT! more things like that, like how to change your color in stacks or anything in that category as weird! applications are great but you guys are just re-saying applications that every other site has said. google "top mac applications" everything you named is in the top page along with every other app you guys listed somewhere, try to look for UNONE applications that are either 1: brand new 2: not heard of yet and post those. I love your work, but your only giving me and 85% when I want the full 100%, definitely keep trying! you guys are doing amazing; also.. maybe a few more interesting tips? don't give us easy ones like "cleaning up desktop" give us something no one else has!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I switch to Mac couple months ago ... the only regrets i have .. i should do it b4 !!!! It's so simple and EVERYTHING u need exist !!! Its crazy
and what about Plex? ;)
Thanks you for your share. many many good
What about free software, open source? Paying 50$ for one app is waste of money... plus, they are not even looking handful. This is what makes me sad about all mac stuff.
Thank you for the best application. Can use for iPad or other device from Apple ?
Good stuff to share. Also, i have something great to share with you too: Driver Robot. Believe it or not, it's the best Driver updater i've elve used.
I think it is great that people share what they have found out to be most useful. As long as that is the primary motive. Making money off of the links and hits is secondary and great, just keep it in that order. For all those worked up about free apps, that is a different list. Pay attention.
Thank you, I found what I was looking for.
Thank you, I found what I was looking for.
@'Mac User': I stopped reading at "tobad".
I don't get people who hate on commercial software. It's great that there is freeware out there, but people who think that they are entitled to get everything for nothing have ... well ... inflated senses of entitlement. Anything is worth what you're willing to pay for it which means that we all value things differently. Software is no different. Just because Renie Windor wouldn't pay for software, doesn't mean that there aren't people out there who appreciate how much effort goes into creating a good app. And here's the thing ... only the completely myopic can't see beyond the medium that intellectual property comes on. You pay for your internet connection and your phone service, don't you? You really think that what you're paying for is just the modem or your hand-set? Give me a break. That's like kids who proclaim that milk comes from the grocery store.
Great list of user interfaces... ! Thanks..
I am also having problems with NavigationService.Navigate, to a page with javascript parent I also had problem with another bug..
Thank you for all these applications. The Best!!
Update to the list, Cha-Ching is dead. Midnight apps was bought by Intuit, both the Mac as well as the iPhone app are no longer available. It's a pity, I liked it...
