You also can make your browsers (or other applications) to work like that. What you only need to do is run Terminal command line killall Dock while you're minimizing the browser window. Hitting Shift for slow motion effect will be a great help for this trick to work.

I've been playing around with these strange browsers all day long and found no harm to my Mac doing this. Should you try it also?

how can i start my dock (generally) with the Terminal? I'm not very used to this..

Start to minimize it and run "killall dock" =)
