The time machine one is great, and combined with Wall saver, I've now got it running as my desktop background :)

Thank you for 'lotsofwater' screensaver, I really enjoy it, but when my screensaver comes on, a black screen display pops up.... not the original deskptop. How can i fix that?

Hi diva, maybe you've accidentally set the "Dimming" adjustment to its lowest which blacken out the display, leaving the dropping water alone. Try to adjust the screensaver "Options" inside your Screensaver Preferences Pane. Hope it can be fix.

HI! I''ve downloaded lotsa water, lotsa glass and electric sheep but unable to use it as my screen saver. Can you please tell me how to install them. Thank you

Hi, Aveline! Three of them have .saver files inside their package. That's the Mac specific file to run the screen saver. Double click on that item and your Mac will install the screen saver for you. If this cannot do, then you need to do a little work.
Open your System Preferences and then go to Desktop & Screen Saver. Under this pane, make sure you're inside Screen Saver section. Drag and drop .saver file to the preview pane. Your new screen saver should be installed by now. Hope this can help you.

Once you drop the .qtz file to your Screen Saver Preferences Pane, it will be automatically installed and set as your screen saver.

Sickening and tiring to try and search for good desktop and screensavers for the MAC! MAC! MAC! MAC! Every place I go it starts for Mac and I end up at some junky windows only web place. I want some beautiful relaxing nature scenes, moving water falls, moving water, stars twinkling (not swirling fancy stuffs) Plenty for windows - for Mac - ZERO. Why? This 2008 already!

Hi Jakers, have you tried my suggestion in comment #7 ? That should be the problem with the screensaver's default setting, try to adjust it a bit :)

You can try to customize the screen saver using the Options… button. Should work fine after that :)

For those having problems with the "LotsaWater" screen saver, you must go to system preferences>security and uncheck "Require password to wake this computer from sleep or screen saver."

I am looking for a version of the flying icon screensaver that was in the original OS X 10.0. The screensaver uses any icon you have in your system.
