As Firefox community is getting more and more crowded by developers, it's even harder for us to filter out the best extensions to enhance our browsing experience.
Last time, I've written an article about 8 Essences Power Browsing with Safari which focused more on increasing the browsing productivity while using Safari web browser. This time, I will expose you to the world of Firefox, where the beauty of its extensions can save your soul from being eaten by boring working routines.
Let's see what are these killer Firefox extensions.
Get Alexa Rank data of your visited website in your status bar on the fly.
Sidebar control to help you quickly switch between sidebar, monitor downloads, show installed extensions or view sources of your visited sites.
Extra features and enhanced skins for your Gmail, such as hierarchical labels, file attachment icons, etc.
Advanced Eyedropper, ColorPicker and Page Zoomer for your Firefox.
Viewing 3D rendered photo gallery and video showcase directly from your Firefox.
Official Firefox add-on for Delicious, to help you sync your pages easily using online bookmark service.
Allowing you to interact with Digg directly from your Firefox browser.
Providing you tiny status bar to help you view and manage downloads without getting in the way of your browsing experience with Firefox.
Download accelerator and manager built inside your Firefox.
Free download video files from popular media sites: YouTube, Dailymotion, Break.com and etc.
Developer tools integrated with Firefox to help you edit, debug and monitor performance of CSS, HTML and JavaScript in any web page.
Exposé feature for your Firefox tabs, to let you easily scan through your opened tabs.
Displaying status of the current website server and providing quick access to the webserver details.
Control your iTunes music player directly from your Firefox status bar.
Validate links on any web page.
Display Google PageRank of current viewed page.
Submit your web page to your favorite social bookmarking site in a simplest way, using toolbar.
Private browsing in Firefox (like the one in Safari).
StumbleUpon helps discover web sites based on your interests and this extension let you have the toolbar integrated into your Firefox.
Preview the content of your Firefox tabs with simple pop-up.
That's all for the Firefox extensions that are significant enough for me. However, don't overdo it when you're trying to install additional extensions or plugins to your Firefox; Don't make your Firefox carry heavy load.

nice!!
What about adblock plus? Sure it cuts into ad revenue but you can always disable it on sites that you want to support, and have a clean browsing experience on the rest.
Another good list ..
another great entry...
Adblock plus should have been #1 on that list. NoScript is good, but too much trouble. Tab Scope looks interesting. I am getting that one.
I'm not a fan of noscript because I believe ajax is the way of the future and have never had any trouble with being infected with something from javascript ever.
Web of Trust is another great add-on. It warns you about risky websites when you search or browse the web or use Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo! mail. http://www.mywot.com
Cooliris rawks! By far the coolest addon. Has anyone mentioned Adblock Plus yet? ;) I'd add Tiny URL Creator or is.gd Creator to create short links in Twitter, for instance.
Y'know, cooliris has come out for safari 4.0 beta, and quite possibly for some earlier versions. I have it on mine right now.
I also suggest Mozilla Labs' Weaver: sync prefs/passwords/bookmarks with all your Firefox browsers
