This isn't any joke, Preview is likely to be the best free images editor I'd ever experienced. Though it seems like an usual image editor, Preview has many hidden ultimate powers.
Make the pop up menu appear by using 
Clk
One of those is the specialty to sort images. It's not just an usual sorting as the file details displayed altogether with sorting process.
From A to Z the name will be displayed. This is usually encountered by many of Mac users, it is so usual yet incredible.
How about this? Displaying path directory along with its sorting result. Besides getting advantage in sorting result, also get profit in knowing the image location.
Even the last time the image modified can be seen directly. This is so useful, especially when it is time to sorted out the old one.
Also X-Raying under the skin through the bone, and get the file size. When doing pruning, prune the biggest yet ugliest picture first, that's why the biggest file size put in the bottom of the list.
Not less important, grouping the different types of images.
And the last but not least important, arrange them by keywords assigning to them. Actually, the usability is depended on how the keywords are managed.
With those sorting ability Preview has, I think I won't be blame calling Preview sorting ability 'ultimate', right?
