Change the Precision
- Open your Calculator. You can either do this either by accessing to your Application folder or by using your QuickSilver with keyword
calc - Activate the calculator by clicking on it. Then go to calculator menu bar
- Click on top down menu View
- Search for Precision, mouse hover on it will bring another check box menu ranged from 0 to 16. It is refer to number of decimal points calculator can have
- Example for Precision set to 16
Advance Calculator
- Go under View menu bar of Calculator.
- There you will see three interface of calculator : Basic, Scientific, and Programmer
- You can change it either by using shortcut

The Effectiveness of Paper Tape
- Go under View menu bar of Calculator
- Then choose Show Paper Type
- Inside this Paper Type, you can type all your calculation, e.g. sqrt(pow(5,9)+7-9/15x6)
- After that, hit the Recalculate Totals button. The calculation will be performed, returning you the result
- You can change the number and then recalculate again and again
Conversion of Data Type
- Go under Convert in Calculator menu bar
- You can convert almost everything inside there..
- You also can update latest currency from the web
