If you want to arrange your windows without being disturbed by activating application that you click and drag, hold before performing your click-move-drag.

Now you will have a little bit neater windows arrangement.

And you can also apply this technique to perform scaling the window size (whether up or down, by click-drag the scale button shown in image enclose by red circle) and hiding the windows (by double-clicking on the header shown in image highlighted by green color)
